We received wonderful support and feedback for the Masters in Trial Program.  80 people registered and after expenses our Chapter will net $17,000+.

More importantly—many young lawyers attended and called it “amazing” “helpful” and “thought provoking.”

Judge Tighe and I interviewed the jurors afterwards and I followed up with each of them. This was a Friday afternoon program scheduled to end at 5—they deliberated until 5:30 and stayed until 6 to keep talking. They wanted to deliberate longer…they would have reached a different verdict if they had more time.  They were confused about the jury instructions—which will be an easy fix.
